Intern – Manual QA Tester

**Experience:** Fresher **Qualification:** B.E. IT/CE/CS, B.Tech, B.C.A, M.C.A. **Number of Openings:** 2 **Job Type:** Full Time (On-Site) Role & Responsibilities * Understand project requirements, specifications, and functional requirements. * Assist senior QA team members in preparing and executing manual test cases. * Perform functional, UI, usability, and regression testing of web and mobile applications. * Identify, document, and report bugs with clear steps to reproduce. * Retest reported bugs after fixes and verify that the issues are resolved. * Perform basic exploratory testing to identify unexpected issues. * Verify application functionality from an end-user perspective. * Maintain proper records of test cases, test results, and reported defects. * Participate in requirement discussions, QA meetings, and project reviews. * Communicate testing progress, issues, and observations to the QA team and developers. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. * Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). * Basic knowledge of different types of software testing, including Functional, Regression, UI, and Smoke Testing. * Basic understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting. * Familiarity with issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an advantage. * Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes is an advantage. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies. * Ability to think from an end-user perspective. * Good communication skills and willingness to learn. * Strong interest in software quality and software testing.
