Software Engineering Intern

**Compensation:** $26.00–$35.00 per hour **Start Date:** Spring **Department:** Engineering Research & Development **Why We Have This Role:** The role focuses on software development and energy systems. As a Software Engineering Intern at the company, you will develop and port code for a next generation controller platform. In this role, you will report to the Software Development Manager responsible for this project. **Things You Will Do:** ● Working with team developing the next generator platform for RF and DC Power Generators ● Port application code from older platform to newer platform using c++ **Candidate Requirements:** ● Current 3rd or 4th Year Engineering Student ● Familiarity with C++ programming language ● Familiarity with VHDL ● Familiarity with Matlab ● Familiarity with Python **Highlights:** ● 6-month co-op assignment within a functional area of the company students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends. ● Meaningful work and project assignments ● Networking opportunities with peers and executives ● Exposure to different divisions of the business ● Intern/Co-op Term: This is a Spring internship in Rochester, NY. **Important:** The successful application submission for the above role(s) will be conditional to your profile evaluation by our AI system.
