Placement Student - IT Operations Support Specialist

**We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Operations Support Specialist to join our team specializing in IT for our Enterprise Platforms in Cwmbran Wales, UK.** **During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.** This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2027. The requirements are for the successful candidate to be on-site 5 days per week, it is important that you can relocate if needed on your own behalf, or be within a commutable distance to site. Please be aware of this role is 100% onsite, In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Maintain & support business systems and IT infrastructure. * Helping to identify & design business and IT solutions. * Leading and supporting projects with project management methodology and tasks. * Support change & process controls within ITIL methodologies. * Collaborate with cross functional teams to support and deliver global initiatives. * Analysis of business and user needs with documentation of requirements To be successful in this role you will need the following: * Suitable degrees to be considered for the role are IT business, any IT degree with in the discipline or STEM degree with an strong interest in IT. * Ability to learn, analyse, and understand business and technical processes. * Must be a team player with ability to work as part of a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time. * General IT proficiency and understanding.
