**Gateway & Robotics Software Intern / GET** **Experience:** Freshers / 0–1.5 year **Role**: Trainee / Software Engineer **Primary focus**: Embedded Linux & Gateway Development **Secondary focus:** ROS/Robotics **Job Description** We are looking for an Intern / Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) interested in working on embedded gateway and robotics software. The role provides hands-on exposure to Linux-based gateways, communication protocols, IoT software, and ROS/ROS2-based robotics systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in developing and testing C/C++ and Python applications for Linux-based embedded gateway products. * Learn and apply communication protocols such as CAN, Modbus, MQTT, and TCP/IP under guidance from senior engineers. * Support deployment, unit/integration testing, and troubleshooting on embedded target hardware. * Interested in developing and testing ROS/ROS2 robotics applications, including nodes, topics,services, parameters, and basic robot/sensor data handling. * Document test cases, debugging steps, issues, and technical findings for team review. **Required / Preferred Skills** * Programming knowledge of C/C++ (including OOP) and Python (Scripting/automation). * Basic knowledge of Linux. * Willingness to learn embedded Linux, IoT gateways, and ROS/ROS2. * Familiarity with Git. * Exposure to ROS/ROS2 is a plus. * Exposure to CAN, Modbus, MQTT, networking, or embedded Linux is a plus. * Willingness to work with hardware and troubleshoot real-world problems. **Good fit if you have:** C/C++ / Python / Linux / Embedded Systems / IoT / ROS2 / Robotics / Networking projects or academic -internship experience Benefits: * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid sick time * Provident Fund Work Location: In person
