In this role, you will bridge the gap between 3D design and web technology. You will focus on building interactive 3D web applications, managing the 3D asset pipeline, and optimizing complex graphics to deliver seamless, real-time rendering experiences directly in web browsers. **Key Responsibilities** * 3D Asset Integration & Pipelines: Integrate, rig, and scale 3D models and parametric components exported from tools like Blender into web-friendly formats (glTF/GLB). * Interactive Web Development: Build and deploy interactive, responsive 3D web environments using core WebGL frameworks such as Three.js or Babylon.js. * Performance Optimization: Optimize 3D assets (reducing polygon count, compression, texture mapping) and WebGL code to ensure fast load times and smooth framerates across both desktop and mobile web browsers. * Shader & Graphics Programming: Assist in writing and debugging clean GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) for custom lighting, materials, and camera visual effects. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, 3D artists, and core frontend developers to turn UI layouts and creative concepts into fully realized digital environments. **Required Skills & Qualifications** * Core Languages: Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript, along with HTML5 and CSS3. * 3D Web Frameworks: Academic or project experience working with Three.js, Babylon.js, or native WebGL. * Digital Content Creation (DCC): Basic proficiency with Blender (or Maya/3ds Max) for inspecting, cleaning, and preparing 3D assets. * Math & Physics Foundations: A solid understanding of linear algebra, vectors, matrices, and coordinate transformation spaces used in 3D computer graphics. * Problem Solving: Strong debugging skills and attention to detail when testing performance metrics across different device viewports. **Nice-to-Have Skills** * Experience with frontend frameworks like React.js (specifically React Three Fiber). * Familiarity with node-based texturing tools like Substance Painter. * Understanding of asset management workflows, version control (Git), and cloud hosting pipelines. **What We Offer** * Potential for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) or full-time conversion based on performance. * Real-world, hands-on experience. * Mentorship from seniors * Internship completion certificate and Letter of Recommendation (LOR).
