Full-stack Developer Intern

Role Overview As a Full-stack Developer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies, API development, database integration, and software engineering best practices while contributing to real-world products. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about software development, enjoy solving technical problems, and are eager to learn how scalable applications are designed, built, tested, and deployed in a real production environment. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. * Assist in building backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js/NestJS or Golang. * Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and databases. * Support database design, data modeling, and basic query optimization using SQL and/or NoSQL databases. * Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards. * Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative problem-solving sessions. * Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to improve application quality and reliability. * Assist in debugging issues, troubleshooting application errors, and improving system performance. * Learn and apply version control practices using Git and participate in team development workflows. * Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver product features. * Research new technologies and propose improvements under the guidance of senior engineers. Requirements * Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Basic understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design. * Familiarity with React and/or Next.js, with a willingness to develop skills in TypeScript. * Basic knowledge of backend development using Node.js or Golang; experience with NestJS is a plus. * Understanding of RESTful APIs and how frontend applications communicate with backend services. * Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL; knowledge of NoSQL databases is an advantage. * Basic understanding of Git and collaborative software development workflows. * Strong logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. * Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to receive and apply feedback. * Good teamwork and communication skills. Nice to Have * Personal projects, academic projects, internships, or contributions to open-source projects. * Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js/NestJS, or Golang. * Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms such as AWS. * Basic understanding of automated testing, application security, and performance optimization. * Exposure to GraphQL, gRPC, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architectures. * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and an understanding of responsible usage. * A public GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating coding skills and completed projects.
