**Job Description: IoT & Embedded Systems Intern** **Position:** IoT & Embedded Systems Intern **Department:** Embedded Systems / IoT **Experience:** Fresher **Employment Type:** Internship **Location:** Bengaluru **About the Role** We are looking for a motivated IoT & Embedded Systems Intern with a basic understanding of embedded programming, hardware interfacing, PCB design, and Linux-based development. The candidate will work with microcontrollers, single-board computers, communication protocols, and hardware-software integration to develop and test IoT and embedded applications. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and test embedded applications using C, C++, and Python. * Work with ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi platforms. * Assist in PCB designing, circuit development, component selection, and hardware prototyping. * Interface sensors, actuators, and peripheral devices with embedded platforms. * Implement and test communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, RS-232, and RS-485. * Work with IDEs and development tools for firmware programming, debugging, and testing. * Use Linux for embedded development, command-line operations, and device configuration. * Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and system integration. * Assist in developing IoT solutions involving device connectivity, data acquisition, and communication. * Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and project documentation. **Required Skills** * **Programming Languages:** Basic knowledge of C, C++, and Python. * **Embedded Platforms:** ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi. * **PCB Design:** Basic knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit design using tools such as KiCad, EasyEDA, or Altium Designer. * **Development IDEs:** Familiarity with Arduino IDE, Raspberry Pi. * **Operating Systems:** Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line tools. * **Communication Protocols:** Understanding of UART, SPI, I2C, RS-232, and RS-485. * **Hardware Knowledge:** Basic understanding of electronic components, sensors, microcontrollers, and circuit debugging. * **Debugging:** Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. **Preferred Qualifications** * Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EEE), Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, or a related field. * Academic projects or hands-on experience with microcontrollers and IoT devices. * Familiarity with Git, serial communication tools, and hardware testing instruments. * Basic understanding of Wi-Fi, HTTPS, and IoT device connectivity. **Internship Benefits** * Hands-on experience with real-time IoT and embedded systems projects. * **Internship completion certificate** upon successful completion of the internship. * **Potential full-time employment opportunity** based on performance during the internship and the organization's requirements.
