Role Description
**Title: Quality Engineering Intern**
**Overview:**
TWI is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to gain experience with our Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, hands on engineering student looking to gain valuable work experience and explore a potential career path. At all stages of this internship, you will be encouraged to use initiative and given the freedom to expand scope to aid in your development.
In this Internship, you will develop a knowledge of TWI’s manufacturing flow and the associated Quality Control processes build around it. This in turn will allow you to gain an appreciation for the quality controls necessary to supply into the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The internship will engage you in the process of maintaining our Quality Assurance system. Specifically, you will gain experience in the following areas: Statistical Process Control (SPC), Non-conforming material handling (MRB/NCR), ISO based quality systems, Root cause and corrective action processes, Manufacturing data analysis, Calibration systems and working in a semiconductor supply chain environment.
**Responsibilities:**
* Generate data package for Statistical Process Control (SPC) review.
* Support Production and Quality on Non-confirming Material archiving and documentation process.
* Support TWI’s tool calibration program.
* Work with Quality Engineering to monitor and review Production and Lab environment.
* Establish procedures to assist with SPC software maintenance and configuration.
* Support other data mining and improvement projects.
* Develop training processes to support quality inspectors.
* Perform and document assigned quality audits.
* Support CAR process.
* Other duties may be assigned by manager and mentor.
**Skills and Background:**
* Candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Science discipline.
* Must have a legal right to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and thrive in team environment.
* Must be a logical and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
* Basic statistic and database knowledge preferred.
* Strong ability with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word.

Pay: $30\.00 - $40\.00 per hour
