Fashion Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about fashion to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The intern will work closely with our experienced design team and contribute to various stages of the design process, from concept development to production. Responsibilities: * Assist in researching current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques. * Contribute to brainstorming sessions and concept development meetings. * Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings using design software and by hand. * Collaborate with the design team to develop mood boards, color palettes, and fabric swatches. * Assist in sourcing materials and trims from suppliers. * Support the design team in preparing for presentations and meetings with clients or stakeholders. * Participate in fittings and garment construction sessions, providing input and feedback as needed. * Help maintain organization and cleanliness in the design studio. * Support various administrative tasks as required. Requirements: * Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a fashion design or related program. (Preferred NIFT) * Must have Tablet or Laptop * 2 years experience in same field * Strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends and aesthetics. * Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or CAD. * Excellent sketching and illustration skills. * Basic knowledge of garment construction techniques and pattern-making. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. * Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills. * Prior internship or relevant experience in fashion design is a plus.
