Research & Development Internship

***Position Summary:*** The R\&D Internship exposes you to a variety of real-life business situations as you work in a fast-paced environment alongside our employees in Research \& Development. You’ll have the opportunity to gain professional experience in a scientific field and develop insights into how we create safe, high quality, great tasting prepared frozen seafood items. ***What You’ll Do:*** * Support of new product development activities from ideation to commercialization * Assist with formulations, laboratory experimentation, and manufacturing trials * Develop analytical methods for ensuring quality of products * Conduct sensory evaluations of prototypes and document results * Support future successes through accurate knowledge and data management ***What You’ll Need*** * Creative, science-oriented undergraduate students, majoring in Food Science, Culinary Arts or Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Engineering * Must be willing to taste fish and shellfish prototypes, with the ability to discriminate on flavor differences * Proficiency in MS Office software * Good oral and written communication skills * Reliable transportation to and from the workplace **Pay Range:** $20-$25/hour Candidates must have permanent U.S. work authorization
