AI & Data Engineering Intern **Description -** **Before applying** please note that, to be eligible for this position, you must be currently enrolled at a **university in Spain** , remain enrolled until the end of the internship, and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with your university. You must also be available to start the internship in **February 2027** and continue participating in the program until **June–July 2027** . **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Data Engineer Intern** to join our Data & AI team and contribute to the development of modern data and AI solutions. You will work in a dynamic environment where **data engineering meets Artificial Intelligence** , gaining hands-on experience building solutions on **Databricks** and working with real business challenges. You will collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts and business teams, learning how enterprise data is transformed into trusted data products that power **analytics, AI and intelligent applications** . **What you'll do** * Develop and maintain **data pipelines and transformations in Databricks** . * Work with **Python and SQL** to transform and prepare enterprise data. * Help build reliable, reusable and business-ready datasets. * Implement **data quality checks** and support data governance and documentation. * Explore how data can enable **AI-powered solutions and intelligent applications** . * Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. * Experiment with new technologies and identify opportunities to **innovate and automate** . * Learn and apply modern Data & AI engineering practices in a global enterprise environment. This scope is consistent with the team's existing Databricks operating model, where Data Engineering covers pipelines, data quality, governed datasets and implementation in Unity Catalog. **What we're looking for** Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: * **Computer Engineering** * **Data Engineering** * **Artificial Intelligence** **Technical skills** * **Databricks** * **Python** * **SQL** We don't expect you to know everything.
