Junior (Student) Scientific Software Engineer

**About Us:** *Raiden Numerics LLC*  is a Kyoto-based scientific computing company. We specialize in high-performance, multi-physics finite element simulations, focusing on electromagnetic, plasma, and photonics simulations. **Role Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated student with a physics, math or engineering background for an internship (part-time/アルバイト) role to assist in the development and validation of our state-of-the-art finite element simulation solvers. Please note: * The position demands approximately 5-10 hours per week. * This is a paid position **Responsibilities** As a student support for Solver Development and Validations at *Raiden Numerics LLC* , your primary responsibilities will be to assist in the development of the finite element simulation solvers and participate in their validation. Depending on personal interest, this can include implementation of custom physics models, extensions to GPU computing, and/or other tasks. **Qualifications** * English language proficiency * Demonstrated interest in physics and scientific computing. * Proficiency in at least one machine language, preferably C\+\+. * Knowledge in at least one scripting language.
