Role Description
**The Company \& The Role**
Glenvex Sdn Bhd is a well-established and fast growing industrial/commercial laundry services provider serving a large portfolio of hospitality and hotel customers in the Kuala Lumpur city centre and beyond.
In our next stage of growth, we are looking for a committed and detail-oriented individual to join us as an **INTERN (Tech \& Operations)**. This role supports the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of application solutions and is for someone who wants to see how a business actually functions - you will gain practical experience in how IT \& digital tools are deployed to solve everyday operational challenges. ***What You’ll be Doing***
· Assist in the development, rollout and continuous improvement of application solutions across internal and external stakeholders, supporting both technical implementation and operational adoption
· Support Tech \& Operations system-related matters, including:
o Assist with system testing (for e.g. preparing test cases, documenting results, identifying issues and suggesting improvements)
o Help track and follow up on UAT, bug reports, resolution and change requests
o Coordinating onboarding tasks and ensuring user readiness
o Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate and complete financial/ operational records
o Assist in analysing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve processes through digital tools or automation
o Track project progress and provide regular status updates
· Provide basic training and support to users, helping resolve simple system issues or escalating where necessary, while gathering feedback for improvement
· Maintain and update accurate documentation, including meeting notes, SOPs, business requirements, user guides, training materials and system configurations
· Participate in system demos, end-user training and onboarding sessions, with travel to customer sites and offices around Klang Valley as required
· Ensure practices and procedures are fully in compliance with Company policy and statutory requirements
· Perform any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by IT Project Lead/ CEO
***Who We’re Looking For***
· Currently pursuing or recently completed degree/ diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
· Internship availability of at least 3 months
· Interest in digital systems, software application deployment processes, ERP etc. – someone who enjoys and takes pride in organizing data and making systems work more efficiently
· Adept at leveraging modern tools to solve practical business problems
· Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
· Proficient in Microsoft office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
· Organised, detail-oriented and eager to learn
· Ability to multi-task, work well in a team and meet deadlines
· Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
