**About us** Magikid Robotics Irvine Lab Magikid is a forefront K-12 educational software developer, original content producer, as well as a leading STEM education resource provider for our global partners. Magikid students have participated in STEM international events and have won the highest level of awards in WLRC, LEGO FFL, VEX IQ, NASA APP Challenges. Our projects emphasize STEAM, robotics and programming. We are seeking part-time instructors teaching children from ages 4-14 who are available in the afternoons at least 2 days a week. Hours are flexible! Classes mainly occur on weekday evenings and weekend mornings and afternoons. Great for educators who want some extra hours after their daycare, or school programs and want to make a difference in even more students lives! **As a Part Time STEM Instructor Intern your responsibilities will include:** - Instructing children with all series robotics especially focus on VEX IQ ROBOTICS in our lab - Assisting with curriculum creation - Communication with parents, i.e. sharing their children's successes! - Helping with daily operations of the lab **Requirements:** -Have experience in VEX IQ robotics, Wonder robotics, LEGO EV3 -Have experience in Python, Scratch programming language -Have experience in STEM and working with children. -You must love working with kids! -A passion for Technology and Education. Bonus points if you: -Are a current students in nearby collage like UCI or Chapman -Have experience in robotics, outreach, or at an after-school program.
