IT/System Intern

**Key Responsibilities** * **Front-Line Support:** Act as the first point of contact for internal staff reporting technical issues via chat, email, or in-person. * **Workstation Deployment:** Assist in the imaging, configuration, and setup of new laptops and desktop workstations. * **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose basic hardware failures, software glitches, and connectivity issues across Windows and macOS environments. * **Peripherals \& AV:** Set up and maintain office equipment including printers, IP phones, and conference room audiovisual systems. * **Asset Management:** Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (laptops, monitors, cables, and licenses). * **Knowledge Base:** Help document recurring issues and create simple "self-help" guides for non-technical employees. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Current Enrollment:** Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * **Technical Literacy:** Familiarity with PC hardware, basic knowledge with Mac and Windows OS and basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, IP). * **Soft Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication; a "customer-first" mentality is a must. * **Curiosity:** A high level of initiative and a desire to learn new technologies quickly. **Physical Ability:** Must be comfortable occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs (e.g., moving monitors or desktop units).
