Mechanical Design Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Design Engineer, you will be required to understand the product requirement and existing developed parametric products that benefit front-end designers and ensure seamless integration with IMOS. Develop and design parametric modules within the Coohom platform, allowing 3D designers to create flexible and customizable furniture designs. Collaborate closely with front-end 3D designers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and refine the parametric modules to enhance usability and efficiency. Continuously improve and expand the existing module library, introducing new features and functionality that align with the evolving needs of the furniture design industry. Work using IMOS software to create 2D and 3D CAD models of components, assemblies, or cabinets. This includes utilizing the software's tools and features to accurately represent the design intent and specifications. Work closely with the IMOS software to integrate Coohom's parametric modules into the manufacturing and production workflows, ensuring seamless data exchange and synchronization. Collaborate with front-end 3D designers teams, including product manager to drive the successful implementation and deployment of new modules and features. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to parametric design, virtual reality, and manufacturing processes, incorporating relevant advancements into the Coohom-IMOS integration.
