IT Intern - Immediate Intake

**Job Description:** We are looking for a versatile and proactive IT Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for our technical operations, balancing software development and database management with essential hardware support, network maintenance, and IT compliance. The ideal candidate is a dedicated problem-solver who is just as comfortable writing code and troubleshooting laptops as they are maintaining rigorous IT documentation and ensuring our systems meet ISO standards. Key Responsibilities: **Software \& Database Management:** Develop, test, and maintain internal web applications and systems using PHP. Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. Assist in the deployment of software updates and bug fixes. **Hardware \& IT Support:** Provide 1st level technical support for internal employees, diagnosing and resolving issues with Server, PCs, laptops, and operating systems (Windows/Linux). **Setup, configure, and maintain IT peripherals, including printers, scanners, monitors, and VoIP hardware.** Manage user accounts, software installations, and hardware inventory. **System \& Network Maintenance:** **Assist in maintaining the company’s local network infrastructure.** Respond promptly to system outages or critical IT emergencies. **Provide reliable after-office-hours support – 24 hours standby on an on-call basis to ensure minimal downtime for critical business operations.** Maintain flexibility to be on standby beyond regular office hours, including weekends and public holidays, to address urgent IT issues and system outages. **Documentation \& Compliance:** **Create, update, and manage comprehensive IT documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system configurations, network diagrams, and user manuals.** Ensure all IT operations, policies, and record-keeping comply with relevant ISO certification standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001\). **Assist in preparing for, and participating in, internal and external ISO audits to maintain company certifications.** **Qualification \& Expectation Software Skills:** **Strong \& demonstrable proficiency in PHP and MySQL.** Hardware Troubleshooting: knowledge of diagnosing and repairing hardware/software issues on PCs and laptops. **Peripheral Setup: Experience setting up and troubleshooting standard IT office equipment. (Printer / CCTV / Projector)** **Availability:** Must be willing and able to provide after-hours support for urgent technical issues. **Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a customer-service oriented mindset.** Documentation \& Standards: Maintaining IT documentation and knowledge of ISO-related compliance and certification requirements. Added Advantages: **Basic knowledge on Networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)** Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk or blended software/IT support role.
