Videographer & Editor (YouTube Series + Documentary)

**About Us** World of Step Media is a start-up network dedicated to producing and publishing original content across all styles of STEP—one of the most powerful forms of artistic communication. Known by many names around the world, STEP has shaped history, culture, and individual lives. Over the past year, we’ve been documenting this journey, and we’re now looking for a passionate creator to join our team. **The Role** We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated Videographer/Editor to bring our stories from camera to screen. This role involves shooting and editing short-form YouTube episodes several times per month, while working closely with our Executive Producer (Remo) to execute shoot plans and ensure all key content is captured. This position requires someone who can follow a structured production schedule, work efficiently, and deliver quick turnarounds. Availability is required on weekends and/or weekdays after 3:00 PM. A production schedule will be provided, along with expectations for consistent weekly edits to keep content moving. If the collaboration is successful, there will be opportunities to grow into larger projects, including our upcoming documentary. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate with the Executive Producer on pre-production planning and shoot concepts * Capture high-quality video content (equipment can be provided if needed) * Organize and manage raw footage * Edit videos from rough cut to final delivery * Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, and overall production quality * Edit and mix audio, including dialogue, music, and sound effects * Upload and optimize videos for YouTube * Maintain organized project files and meet weekly deadlines **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * Proven experience or strong portfolio in videography and video editing * Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop * Experience with audio editing in Adobe Audition * Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing in video * Familiarity with Mac OS and YouTube workflows * Experience with green screen production and basic three-point lighting * Ability to shoot with Canon cameras * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to take direction and implement feedback quickly **Preferred Qualifications** * Passion for or familiarity with the step/dance community * Experience troubleshooting editing software or equipment * Live event or on-location production experience * Experience working with talent and clients on set * Understanding of branding and video SEO Job Types: Internship, Freelance, Contract, Temporary Pay: From $30\.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bronx, NY 10465
