Hours: 20 – 32 hours/week Monday – Friday Duration: Summer Internship (with opportunity to extend) Background: The Field IT Internship will work closely with the IT Specialist learning and troubleshooting various technology systems that the business uses to maintain computer and software networks. Their duties include responding to hardware problems, updating system software and tracking the data and communications used on their network. DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES * Successfully troubleshoots and resolves user error issues in a timely manner. * Demonstrates the ability to prioritize response to IT issues in order of importance of maintaining daily operations. * Maintains oversight of warranty, service calls and vendor relations as they pertain to IT operations. * Sets up all new computers for employee use in a timely fashion. * Demonstrates ability to train and sensibilize employees on Network Security, Cyber Security,… * Demonstrate ability to apply D3 and Group Policies regarding IT operations. KEY SKILLS \& KNOWLEDGE * Demonstrates ability to multi task and work independently on IT Issues and problem solving. * Demonstrates knowledge and expertise with all computer equipment utilized in the daily * operations a D3 LLC. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Currently enrolled or graduated from within the last 12 months a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in IT, Computer Science, or a related Field. * Must have completed at least two years of coursework towards the degree. * Availability to work a minimum number of 20 – 32 hours per week. * Relevant coursework or experience in network management, cyber security, or hardware troubleshooting is preferred. * The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position during shifts at a desk and/or computer * The role requires the ability to remain standing for long periods of time. * The role requires the ability to perform consistent repetitive motion of the hands and arms. * The role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs and carry it across the office.
