Backend Developer Intern (Node.js) – Fresher / 0–6 Months Experience

We work on real-world systems such as dashboards, portals, automation workflows, and integrations. **Role Summary** We are looking for a **Backend Developer Intern (Node.js)** who will help us build and maintain APIs and backend services. This is a hands-on role with learning \+ mentorship and exposure to real product development. **Key Responsibilities** * Build and maintain **REST APIs** using **Node.js \+ Express (or NestJS)** * Work with databases like **MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL** * Implement basic **authentication/authorization** (JWT, role-based access) * Write clean, reusable code and follow basic security practices * Debug issues, write simple tests (bonus), and document endpoints * Work with the Tech-Design team and support integration with frontend **Must-have Skills (Fresher-friendly)** * Basic knowledge of **JavaScript / TypeScript** * Node.js fundamentals \+ understanding of APIs * Familiarity with any DB (MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL) * **Git** basics (push/pull/branches) * Strong willingness to learn and deliver consistently **Good-to-have (Bonus)** * Express.js / NestJS * Postman / Swagger * Docker basics * Basic deployment knowledge (Render/Vercel/AWS etc.) * Understanding of frontend frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus, not mandatory **Who Can Apply** * Freshers **OR** candidates with **up to 6 months experience** * Any graduate (CS/IT preferred but not required if skills are strong) * Candidates with 1–2 live projects/GitHub/portfolio preferred **Selection Process** * Short assignment (API \+ DB task) * 1 technical interview * Final discussion Job Types: Full-time, Internship Contract length: 5 months Pay: ₹8,000\.00 - ₹10,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Paid time off * Work from home Work Location: Remote
