Role Description

As an Electro-Acoustic Development (EAD) intern, you will support the EAD (BTE \& RIC) team in developing and evaluating embedded system hardware for hearing solutions. You will be involved in hardware design support, DSP feature optimization, and technical validation activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to embedded systems, acoustics, data analytics, and emerging technologies such as machine learning within a product development environment.
#### **What you will do**
* Support the development and evaluation of embedded system hardware for hearing solution devices, including design verification planning (EMC / ESD considerations)
* Assist in DSP feature optimization and performance validation
* Participate in prototyping and testing activities for device development
* Contribute to machine learning, measurement automation, and data analytics tasks using Python and MATLAB
* Prepare technical presentations, reports, and document review materials to support development activities.
#### **What you bring**
* Undergraduate, fresh graduate, or postgraduate in Electrical \& Electronic Engineering, Physics, Product Development, or a related discipline
* Knowledge of embedded systems electronics, audio/acoustics, and DSP concepts
* Experience using MATLAB (including OOP) and Python (OOP, NumPy, Matplotlib, Pandas) for data analysis and automation scripting
* Advantageous to have hands-on experience with lab equipment (e.g. Audio Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope, Multimeter) and basic soldering skills
* Basic understanding of machine learning fundamentals is a plus
* Strong analytical mindset, proactive learning attitude, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
